This video is an archive stream of Yooka-Laylee from our Twitch channel ChargedShotTV. Justin flies solo to stream the duo of Yooka and Laylee in their playable debut. This game is inspired by Nintendo 64-style 3D platformers such as Donkey Kong 64. This game evokes the style of classic 3d platforming collect-a-thon games, while also, taking cues from modern games to feel wholly new, for better or worse.

Yooka-Laylee is a video game originally kickstarted and promised to make a faithful spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. Yook-Laylee was developed by Playtonic Games. Playtonic Games was made up of several previous notable developers that worked on titles such as Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64. Published by Team 17 take command of a lizard and bat while looking for pages to a book that was stolen. Travel through multiple words and environments while meeting interesting characters ranging from bosses and helpful friends.

Yooka-Laylee came out to middling reviews ranging from 69 - 73 on Metacritic across Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
